KOKNI OF THE YEAR AWARD

Assalamu alaikum. We are pleased to announce a new award for those who are signed up members of KCL.

To be awarded to: :

Someone who has contributed to improve the quality of life and enhanced the reputation of the Kokni community in Luton

Who can be considered?
Anyone over 16

How will the winner be decided?

The KCL MC will make the decision, which will be final.

Can members of the KCL committee be considered?

Yes, but only if their contribution is above and beyond their role in the MC.

Can anyone nominate someone for KOTY?

Yes, by sending the name, reasons for nomination and evidence to the MC by the end of February each year.

When will the winner be announced?

Yearly, at the KCL AGM event

Will there be a prize?

Yes.. TBC – But anyone keen to sponsor this in any way is welcome.

What do you need to do to be a candidate for KOTY?

You will be considered if you made a significant contribution to the following:

Community events
At Masjid and/or Madrassa or both
Fund raising
Sports and recreation events
Supporting the senior citizens
Projects undertaken by KCL MC
Representing us at Kokni events nationwide.
