Message from Farida Parkar
To look after ourselves; to look after each other; to move our community together as a family and to maintain a bond as a community that our mothers, our aunts and all those before us achieved , as your newly appointed Women’s Officer for Kokni Community Luton I am inviting all female members to attend our meeting on 29 October 2016 at 4pm at Unit 1. Tea/Snacks will be provided.
We wish to use this opportunity to build a foundation for our women and girls, our young and our elderly, to discuss and set up events and activities that will reunite us as a family unit . I am hoping for volunteers to bring fresh ideas and lend support towards these activities. Anyone interest in supporting me in this role, please do not hesitate to contact me. Let us remember our past fondly and use it to build a future for ourselves, our elders and our children.
I’ve come to believe that each of us has a personal calling that’s as unique as a fingerprint—and that the best way to succeed is to discover what you love and then find a way to offer it to others in the form of service, working hard, and also allowing the energy of the universe to lead you.” ~ Oprah Winfrey“
Any queries/suggestions/volunteers, contact Farida Parkar on 07806 784 767.
